Palm Desert takes over the top spot after Corona del Mar failed to capitalize on three key set points and lost to Irvine University, 11-7. Calabasas fell to Santa Barbara on games while short-handed, but won’t slide yet. Then again, No. 6 Rolling Hills Estates Peninsula plays No. 4 Dana Hills and No. 9 Irvine University takes on No. 8 Laguna Beach this week.
