The toy department: In a lifetime spent rooting against the Dodgers, few pitchers have irritated me more than Kaz Ishii. While I admire his skills, his style of pitching can be maddening if you’re pulling for the other team and he’s getting people out with curveballs in the dirt.
The life department: Yet within seconds after seeing Ishii take a line drive in the face, I found myself one of his biggest supporters. Let’s try not to take the game too seriously.
