Warning About Alcohol

I was shocked at your package on tailgating parties (“Big Game? Sure, and Big Party,” by Nancy Rommelmann, Sept. 26). Your cover, the articles and the photos inside glorify underage drinking by the students at these parties.

Did you know the drinking age in California is 21? I am incensed by your paper’s making it appear so “cool” to get loaded for a football game. It is also frightening to think these people are on the road after a long day of drinking in the sun.
