Less than three weeks after a decisive maiden victory, Snow Me will try for a repeat in tonight’s seventh race, a $12,850 allowance at 300 yards.

Owned by James Helzer and trained by Blane Schvaneveldt, the 3-year-old This Snow Is Royal gelding earned his first victory in his fourth start March 15. As a 2-1 favorite, he won by more than a length under jockey Alex Bautista.

The field also includes two other 3-year-olds who recently graduated. Control Freak beat $12,500 claimers by a half-length for trainer Jesus Enriquez on March 14 and First Tycoon won by the same margin for trainer Jose Antonio Flores on March 8.
