Before owner Enrique Gonzalez goes for a $1-million bonus with Hawkish in the Los Alamitos Million on Friday night, he will seek a more modest prize this evening.

Miraval, an impressive winner in her debut for Gonzalez on Oct. 3, will meet six other 2-year-old fillies in the seventh race, an $11,850 allowance at 300 yards.

Miraval, a California-bred daughter of Red Hot Rhythm trained by Danny Cardoza, won by a length at nearly 17-1 in her first start. With jockey Eddie Garcia switching to Queen Then And Now, Alejandro Luna will ride Miraval.
