BOYS’ BASKETBALL

* Chris Hart and Matt Richards, Long Beach Wilson: Hart had 24 points and 10 rebounds, and Richards scored 15 of his 17 points in the fourth quarter in a 70-65 upset of No. 15 St. John Bosco in the Sonora/Troy tournament ninth-place semifinals.

* David Brown, Covina: Had 25 points and the Colts converted all six of their free throws in triple overtime in a 68-64 victory over El Monte Mountain View in the third-place game of the Azusa tournament.

* Matt Oliver, Crescenta Valley: Finished with 15 points, 12 rebounds and 11 assists in a 61-56 victory over Newhall Hart in the title game of the Falcons’ tournament. It was his third triple-double of the tournament.

GIRLS’ BASKETBALL

* Whitney Warren, Torrance Bishop Montgomery: Had 17 points, nine rebounds and five steals for the No. 11 Knights in a 55-42 victory over Chino Hills Ayala in the second round of the Artesia tournament.

BOYS’ SOCCER

* Miguel Cruz and Mario Velez, Huntington Beach Ocean View: Each scored a goal in a 2-1 Golden West League win over No. 7 Santa Ana Saddleback, which lost for the first time in 10 games.

* Froylan Sanchez, Long Beach Millikan: Scored off a free kick to give the No. 3 Rams a 1-0 Moore League victory over Long Beach Jordan.

GIRLS’ SOCCER

* Jaime Kirckl, Corona Santiago: Had two goals and one assist in a 5-2 nonleague victory over Temescal Canyon.
