FIRST TEAM

*--* Kelsey Delagardelle Sultana Sr. The top runner on the best team in the Southland placed second in the Southern Section Division II final, ninth in the state meet and 26th in the West Region championships. Lindsay Flacks Harvard-Westlake Sr. The Times’ runner of the year placed second in the West Region championships and 24th in the nationals. In addition, she won the Division III final of the Southern Section championships and placed third in the state meet. Jenna Kingma San Luis Obispo Sr. Placed second to Flacks in the Southern Section Division III final and finished fourth in the state championships. Brienna Morris Quartz Hill Fr. One of the big finds of the season placed sixth in the Southern Section Division I final and fifth in the state meet. Liza Pasciuto Murrieta Valley Sr. Last year’s runner of the year placed second in the Division I races of the Southern Section and state meets, sixth in the West Region meet and 29th in the national championships. Brooke Russell Hart Fr. Russell upset defending champion Pasciuto for the Southern Section Division I title and finished sixth in the state meet after falling during the first mile of that race. Stephanie Torres Cypress Sr. The runner-up in the Orange County championships won the Southern Section Division II title, placed 10th in the state championships and 29th in the West Region. Bill Tokar Ventura Coach (Assistant: Ken Reeves.) Tokar and Reeves guided Ventura to its first Division I titles in the Southern Section and state championships and a No. 13 national ranking by Harrier magazine.
