BOYS’ BASKETBALL

Donte Jenkins, San Fernando: Scored 45 points, while making 13 of 28 three-point shots, in a 104-76 Valley Mission League loss to North Hills Monroe.

Jacob Daigle, San Gorgonio: Scored 19 points and made two free throws with no time left in a 66-65 San Andreas League victory over San Bernardino Cajon. The win gave San Gorgonio, the No. 6-ranked team in the Southland by The Times, its first league championship since 1986.

GIRLS’ BASKETBALL

Cindy Poon, Rosemead: Had 26 points, 15 rebounds, 11 assists and 10 steals in a 69-37 victory at South El Monte that clinched the Mission Valley League title.

GIRLS’ SOCCER

Emily Homan, Dana Point Dana Hills: Had a goal and assist in a 3-1 South Coast League upset of top-ranked Mission Viejo Capistrano Valley.

GIRLS’ WATER POLO

Monique Blanchard and Kelsey Holshouser, Riverside Poly: Blanchard scored five goals and Holshouser had four in a 14-3 victory against Riverside Arlington that clinched the Ivy League title for No. 7 Poly.
