Amber Moffett-White, Culver City: Had 28 points and 13 rebounds in a 52-34 Division III-AA first-round victory over Los Altos.
Melissa Cook, Placentia El Dorado: Had 20 points and nine rebounds in a 43-39 Division II-AA first-round victory over Norco.
GIRLS’ SOCCER
Marjorie Cortez, Harbor City Narbonne: Scored twice and had an assist in a 3-2 City Section first-round victory over Los Angeles Locke.
GIRLS’ WATER POLO
Ashley Reta, Placentia El Dorado: Scored six goals, including the game-winner in sudden-death overtime, in a 10-9 Division II victory over Fullerton Troy.
Rachael Lee, Newbury Park: Scored the game-winning goal with two minutes left in a 5-4 Division IV first-round victory over Camarillo.
Nicole Pereira, Riverside North: Scored twice, including the game-winning goal with 1:45 left, in a 6-5 Division V first-round victory over Yucaipa.
Sheena Carter, Glendora St. Lucy’s: Had nine goals and an assist in a 12-7 Division III first-round victory over Woodland Hills Louisville.
