Workshop to Prepare Adult Literacy Tutors

A workshop preparing volunteers to tutor adults in basic literacy skills will be presented from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday at Conejo Valley Adult School.
Volunteers do not need a teaching background. Trained volunteers will commit to at least two hours a week tutoring an adult student at the literacy center, 1025 Old Farm Road, Room A, Thousand Oaks.
