Teacher Faces Hearing in Molestation Case

An Oxnard middle school teacher arrested on suspicion of molesting two sisters in his classroom will be arraigned next month, authorities said Wednesday.
Jose Felix, 28, who taught at Blackstock School, is accused of having oral sex with a seventh-grade girl in 2001 and kissing and fondling her older sister two years earlier, prosecutors said.
Superior Court Judge Art Gutierrez ruled Tuesday there is enough evidence for a trial. Felix’s arraignment was scheduled for Feb. 11, with bail set at $600,000.
