Man Arrested in Brutal Assault on Woman

Taking the strength of half a dozen officers and ten 50,000-volt blasts from a taser to subdue him, Los Angeles police arrested an Atascadero man on suspicion of viciously raping and beating a 51-year-old East Los Angeles woman, department officials said Wednesday.
Richard Lee Zuno, a 33-year-old with a 14-year criminal history, allegedly entered the woman’s Richelieu Terrace residence through an open window around 4:20 a.m., said LAPD Deputy Chief Garry Brennan.
