Coast Search for Slain Children’s Father Halted
From Times Wire Reports
Police called off their search Saturday along the coast north of Santa Cruz for the missing father of two children found slain in their home earlier in the week. Officials said they would refocus their efforts elsewhere, despite indications that the man might have committed suicide.
Authorities searched along a rugged strip of coastline between Santa Cruz and San Francisco, where Jose Zacarias’ brown Ford Taurus was discovered early Friday along a cliff that drops hundreds of feet to the ocean.
