Reality TV ‘Single’ Is Already Hitched

In the latest background check gaffe to strike TV’s so-called reality series, it was revealed on a San Diego radio show Wednesday that one of the supposedly single contestants on “Married In America” already has a husband.
The new unscripted Fox series, which premiered Monday to lackluster ratings, lets viewers play matchmaker by phoning in votes for potential spouses for five unlucky-in-love singles.
Fox executives confirmed that one of the wannabe brides, a professional rodeo rider identified as “Denise L.,” is married. The news was broken by her sister-in-law on KFMB-FM (100.7) in San Diego.
