Man Arrested After High-Speed Chase

Oxnard police arrested a 33-year-old man Friday after a three-hour high-speed chase through city streets and the Ventura Freeway.
Christopher Garcia of Oxnard, who was sought on two felony warrants, was spotted by officers at 10:40 p.m. Thursday, authorities said. Officers chased him to the freeway, where the Volvo he was driving reached speeds of 100 mph, police said.
They apprehended him at 1:55 a.m. Garcia was arrested on suspicion of stealing the car and driving under the influence.
