From Times Wire Reports

Law enforcement agencies again took to San Francisco Bay on Saturday in search of more evidence in the Laci Peterson murder case.

Police divers returned to the water near Richmond on Friday for what they described as a follow-up investigation that would last through the weekend. It has been their first major presence in the area since the body of the 27-year-old pregnant Modesto woman and her unborn son washed onto a Richmond shoreline last month. She disappeared Christmas Eve.

Modesto police arrested her husband, Scott Peterson, last month and prosecutors have charged him with double murder. He has pleaded not guilty but remains in Stanislaus County Jail without bail.
