Alyssa Gutierrez, La Mirada: Threw a no-hitter with six strikeouts and Sharla Hume drove in the only run in a Division III quarterfinal victory over Riverside King.

BOYS’ TENNIS

Jordan Colman and Cale Planck, Palm Desert: Colman won his final set to tie the score and Planck swept, 6-4, 6-0, 6-1, to help the Aztecs win, 77-74, on games in a Division II semifinal.

Chip Hand, Kevin Lee and Daniel Siow, Anaheim Fairmont Prep: Swept all their sets to win, 70-69, on games in a Division V semifinal.
