CBS likes these doses of reality

Fresh off its win for best reality/competition series at the Emmy Awards on Sept. 21, “The Amazing Race” has been signed up for a fifth go-round on CBS. The network also ordered a fifth edition of the unscripted series “Big Brother” for next year.

“Big Brother 5” will premiere in the summer, while the air date for “The Amazing Race 5” has yet to be determined.
