Earthquakes Take Sizzle Out of Burn

SAN JOSE —
Dwayne De Rosario had a hat trick and Landon Donovan scored twice as the San Jose Earthquakes routed the Dallas Burn, 5-2, in front of 12,219 on Saturday to clinch home-field advantage in the first round of the playoffs.
De Rosario scored his first goal 11 seconds into the game, the fastest goal in league history. He set a San Jose team record with seven points overall.
