20 People Displaced by Fire in 3 Apartments

An early-morning blaze damaged three Santa Ana apartments and left 20 people homeless Thursday, officials said.
The fire erupted shortly before 7 a.m. in a bathroom at the single-story Fairlane Gardens Apartments on Fairview Street, fire officials said. It took firefighters about 10 minutes to put out the blaze, which had spread through the attic to the other two units, officials said.
