Man, 39, Found Dead in Burned Mobile Home
A body was discovered Wednesday after firefighters put out a blaze that gutted a mobile home, officials said.
The body of Edward Allan Welz, 39, was found in the living room at 48 Riversea Road.
A preliminary investigation indicated that the fire had started in the kitchen about 12:30 a.m. after some food was left unattended on a stove, according to Capt. Stephen Miller, spokesman for the Orange County Fire Authority.
It took 20 firefighters about 30 minutes to control the blaze. Damages were estimated at about $90,000.
