Bill Plaschke continues to blame Kobe for alienating Karl Malone, even though the rift stems from inappropriate comments the Mailman delivered to Kobe’s wife. In other words, despite an apology from Malone for said comments, Rev. Plaschke still thinks Kobe and his wife are lying.

On top of that, the good Reverend failed to point out that it was Malone who lied in the first place, when he blamed an interview Kobe gave on the radio for his desire to go elsewhere. Turns out, it was an attempt to cover up his own pathetic behavior. Hey Bill, where’s the outrage?

All we ever read about regarding the Lakers is Kobe Bryant. When does Rudy T. begin to receive some of the questioning and the blame?

The Lakers’ problems are rotation, bench scoring and defense. It seems to me that, game to game, Tomjanovich has no idea of what he wants to do. He plays Kobe far too many minutes. Vlade and Slava might as well still be on the injured list. Tierre Brown as the first guard off the bench is a joke. And the defensive scheme is, well, offensive.
