Share

Trials for a couple of upcoming Arabian stakes comprise nearly half the program as a new week begins.

The second and third races are trials for the Daughters of the Desert for 4-year-old fillies and the sixth and seventh races are trials for the Drinkers of the Wind for 4-year-old colts and geldings.

In the sixth, Sudden Mischief, a California-bred son of By Golly, will try for his sixth victory in eight starts against seven opponents. A race later, Mizter Al, who was so impressive breaking his maiden at first asking on Dec. 26, will try to remain unbeaten for owner-trainer Felix Payne.
