Brick Building Heavily Damaged by Flames
From Times Staff Reports
More than 100 firefighters took about an hour to extinguish a blaze that heavily damaged a one-story brick building Sunday afternoon, a fire official said.
The fire, reported about 3:30 p.m. in the 12000 block of Vose Street, was blazing through the roof of the building by the time firefighters arrived, said Brian Humphrey of the Los Angeles Fire Department. The 5,000-square-foot structure may have been a cabinet-making shop, he said. No injuries were reported.
