Navy Investigates Video Camera in Ship Showers
From Times Wire Reports
Navy officials are investigating a video camera discovered in the women’s showers aboard a San Diego-based command ship.
A female sailor discovered the wireless camera hidden in an air vent above a stall while she was showering April 14 on the Coronado. The camera’s battery was dead, and searches of female berths, restrooms and showers did not reveal additional cameras or a receiver, spokesman Cmdr. Scott Gureck said.
The Coronado left San Diego March 5 for Japan and is scheduled to return later this year.
