DUI Case Could Be Manslaughter

A man who police say was driving drunk when his vehicle struck a light pole and killed his passenger in Costa Mesa could face manslaughter charges, officials said Tuesday.
Oscar Tinoco, 20, of Santa Ana was arrested on suspicion of felony drunk driving Aug. 28 after the accident at Harbor Boulevard and Ford Road, which killed Tuan Nguyen, 24, of Westminster.
Tinoco was released Sunday from jail in Costa Mesa on $100,000 bail.
