Charges Dropped in Cellphone Arrest

Charges of disorderly conduct and resisting arrest were dropped against a pregnant woman arrested and forced to the ground by Metro Transit Police for allegedly talking too loudly on a cellphone.
“I’m happy that it’s over with,” defendant Sakinah Aaron, 23, said of the incident that had raised questions about the conduct of the transit police force.
