* Beth Wildermuth and Brianna Bowman, Santa Margarita: Wildermuth had 75 assists and Bowman totaled 32 kills in three tournament pool-play games -- victories over San Diego Rancho Bernardo and host Las Vegas Durango and a loss to Louisville Assumption.

GIRLS’ GOLF

* Esther Cho, La Quinta: Shot a five-under par 67 at The Lakes Country Club to take individual honors by seven strokes at the Palm Desert Invitational. Peninsula won team honors with a score of 390.
