Pat Haden to Chair TCW Galileo Funds
Former Los Angeles Ram football great Pat Haden is taking over as chairman of the L.A.-based TCW Galileo mutual funds, the company said Monday.
Haden, a partner at the Riordan, Lewis & Haden private equity firm in Los Angeles, has been a director of the TCW funds since May 2001.
The Securities and Exchange Commission in June said every fund must have a chairman who isn’t employed by the fund’s management company. Haden, 51, will succeed Marc I. Stern, a top executive at TCW Group, the funds’ manager.
The TCW Galileo fund family has about $6.5 billion under management.
