Boston Celtic forward Antoine Walker missed Sunday’s game against the Philadelphia 76ers because of a deep bruise in his left knee, and Coach Doc Rivers said the forward might be sidelined all week.

Walker was injured Friday against Atlanta. When he arrived at the arena Sunday, he couldn’t run, Rivers said.

“My assumption is he’s not going to play the next game, either, and maybe not the entire week,” Rivers said after the Celtics’ loss to the 76ers. “That’s the last I heard. That’s what they were leaning towards.”

Seattle SuperSonic forward Rashard Lewis underwent a bone scan on his injured right foot that showed he doesn’t have a broken bone.

Lewis, sidelined indefinitely, had the scan Saturday and will undergo another test today that looks even deeper at the injury.

“It didn’t show something, which is good,” SuperSonic Coach Nate McMillan said. “The fact they didn’t see anything on that is encouraging. It’s still sore.”

Lewis was injured March 27 in a loss to Washington when he jammed his foot. He finished the game, but the injury became too painful later in the week.

The team said a treatment plan will be clearer by today when the tests are completed.

Coach Scott Skiles said Curry might be able to rejoin the team next week when the Bulls start a three-game trip Tuesday night in Miami, but his playing status will be uncertain as the Bulls proceed with caution.

The Memphis Grizzlies placed forward Stromile Swift on the injured list because of an irregular heartbeat.

“He started to feel something different during [Friday’s] Milwaukee game, and then felt something different [Saturday] night at home,” Memphis Coach Mike Fratello said. “They took him and did a series of tests on him [Sunday] afternoon. It’s true, it is irregular. It’s not beating the proper way. So they want to start to treat that and take care of that.”

Vaughn was experiencing pain in his foot before the game but decided to play. He ran off the court after fracturing the fifth metatarsal two minutes into the first quarter.
