Spending Limit Lifted in City Council Race
Candidates vying for the only open seat on the City Council are now free to spend as much as they can raise.
An independent expenditure by the union that represents Los Angeles firefighters lifted the $330,000 limit on how much each candidate can spend in the 11th District race.
Former cable TV executive Bill Rosendahl, who received the union’s support, faces community activist Flora Gil Krisilof and labor attorney Angela Reddock.
