Passenger Dies When SUV Hits Pole on I-5

A Los Angeles man was killed Saturday when he was ejected from a sport utility vehicle that crashed on Interstate 5, south of San Juan Creek Road. Coroner’s office spokesman Rod Thomas identified the victim as Daniel Graham Jr., 25, a passenger.
The SUV overturned and hit a light pole about 3 a.m., according to a California Highway Patrol dispatcher. She said she did not know whether the driver was injured or if other passengers were in the vehicle.
