2 of 3 Fire-Damaged Buildings Date to 1800s

A fire that spread through three buildings in Annapolis’ historic downtown -- two of them dating to the 1800s -- probably caused millions of dollars in damage, their owner said.
The row-house style Main Street buildings did not have sprinklers, and it took a crew of about 75 firefighters four hours Friday night to control the blaze.
