Oklahoma State receiver Luke Frazier was hurt on the Cowboys’ first offensive play of the game when he upended Florida Atlantic safety Troy Pindell. He was taken off the field on a stretcher.

The Mississippi State-Tulane football game, scheduled for the Superdome in New Orleans, will be played Sept. 17 at 5 p.m. PDT in Shreveport, La., Mississippi State officials said.

Former Marshall coach Bob Pruett dropped out of the Harris Interactive College Football Poll because of his ESPN affiliation. He’ll be replaced by former Southern Methodist player Bobby Leach.
