Man Is Found Slain on Freeway Offramp

A man who had recently been released from jail was found fatally shot Saturday on a freeway offramp, Los Angeles County sheriff’s officials said.
Authorities found the unidentified man at the Alondra Boulevard offramp of the Long Beach Freeway about 12:40 p.m., said Deputy Tania Plunkett.
The offramp was closed into the evening while investigators searched the area.
It was not known if the shooting occurred on the freeway or if the victim had been dumped there.
