From Times Staff and Wire Reports
Ten people have been arrested in what police called a prostitution ring that involved women smuggled from Asia.
Among those taken into custody late Friday at a house in the 5000 block of Progresso Street were Duc Tuan Dinh, 34, of Santa Ana, suspected of operating 10 brothels throughout Orange County, two alleged associates, six suspected prostitutes and a suspected customer, police said.
The Westminster Police Department spearheaded the seven-month investigation that culminated in Friday’s arrests.
