Woman Critically Hurt in Attack by 2 Dogs

A Fresno County woman was in critical condition Monday after being mauled by two dogs as she walked along a residential street. The German shepherd and chow were later shot and killed by authorities after the dogs charged two Fresno County sheriff’s deputies.
Marylou Rivera, 53, of Del Rey was attacked Sunday and was taken to University Medical Center in Fresno with a torn scalp and severely injured leg, according to sheriff’s deputies.
