City Atty. Rocky Delgadillo said Monday that he has hired federal prosecutor Bruce Riordan to oversee gang prosecution and intervention efforts for his office.
Riordan, deputy chief of the U.S. attorney’s Los Angeles organized crime and terrorism section, will become senior supervising attorney for anti-gang activities in the city attorney’s office.
“With Bruce as our ‘gang czar,’ we will take this fight to the next level,” Delgadillo said.
