Hawaii 68, at Fresno State 37: Colt Brennan threw for 409 yards and matched a season high with five touchdown passes to lead the Warriors (4-2, 2-1) over the Bulldogs (1-5, 1-2) in a Western Athletic Conference game. Brennan, a former Santa Ana Mater Dei standout, completed 32 of 39 passes.

at San Jose State 21, Utah State 14: Patrick Perry’s three-yard touchdown run with just under four minutes left lifted the Spartans (4-1, 1-0) over the Aggies (1-6, 1-2) in a WAC game.

Idaho 24, at Louisiana Tech 14: Steven Wichman threw for 238 yards and Jayson Bird scored two rushing touchdowns to lift the Vandals (4-3, 3-0) over the Bulldogs (1-5, 0-2) in a WAC game at Ruston.

at Wyoming 31, Utah 15: Redshirt freshman Karsten Sween threw for 202 yards and had a touchdown run to lead the Cowboys (3-4, 2-1) over the Utes (4-3, 2-1) in a Mountain West Conference game at Laramie.

New Mexico 39, at Nevada Las Vegas 36: Kenny Byrd kicked a 39-yard field in overtime as the Lobos (3-4, 1-2) rallied to defeat the Rebels (1-5, 0-2) in a Mountain West game.

at San Diego 68, Valparaiso 7: Josh Johnson threw four touchdown passes and ran for another to lead the Toreros (6-0, 3-0) over the Crusaders (2-5, 1-3) in a Pioneer League game for their 14th consecutive victory.

Humboldt State 31, at Azusa Pacific 24: Marcus Cox scored on a 13-yard run for the Lumberjacks (5-1) with 32 seconds left to beat the Cougars (1-6).

at Claremont Mudd 30, Cal Lutheran 27: Zach Mallove’s 42-yard field goal in the second overtime was the difference as the Stags (3-2, 1-1) defeated the Kingsmen (4-1, 2-1) in a SCIAC game. Quarterback Aaron Gonzales had a rushing touchdown in overtime and threw three touchdown passes in regulation for Claremont, including a 67-yarder to Mike Hiorkawa that tied the score with 1:48 left.

Occidental 49, at La Verne 14: Andy Collins completed 21 of 28 passes for 242 yards and five touchdowns to lead the Tigers (5-0, 3-0) over the Leopards (1-4, 1-2) in a SCIAC game.

at Whittier 17, Chapman 0: Josh Toailoa scored on an 11-yard fumble return as the Poets (1-4) scored all their points in the first half in defeating the Panthers (2-3).
