Bonaduce is getting a divorce

Danny Bonaduce announced Tuesday that he and his wife, Gretchen, are beginning divorce proceedings.

Bonaduce and his wife have starred in the VH1 reality TV show “Breaking Bonaduce,” which chronicles the former child actor’s attempts to recover from highly publicized drug, alcohol and anger management problems. It also closely follows his efforts to repair problems with Gretchen, who is a singer, and his effort to remain a positive role model for their two children.

Bonaduce made the announcement on “The Adam Carolla Show,” which airs on KLSX-FM (97.1), where he has been a regular since the beginning of the year. Bonaduce said he is holding out hope for a reconciliation.
