Mavericks clamp down on Nuggets

Dirk Nowitzki fell two assists short of his first triple-double and the Dallas Mavericks stretched their club-record home winning streak to 19 games with their second-highest point total of 2007.

Nowitzki had 31 points, 11 rebounds and eight assists as the Mavericks won their 11th in a row overall with a 115-95 victory over the Denver Nuggets on Saturday night.

The Nuggets’ Carmelo Anthony and Allen Iverson combined for 37 first-half points -- 19 from Anthony and 18 from Iverson, but Dallas clamped down in the second half as Anthony finished with 34 points and Iverson had 26.

Utah 105, Boston 87 -- Carlos Boozer had 16 points and 10 rebounds at Salt Lake City and the Jazz completed a sweep of the Celtics for the first time since 1998.

Toronto 93, Charlotte 76 -- Chris Bosh scored all 24 of his points in the second half to help the visiting Raptors beat the Bobcats, who lost Gerald Wallace (strained groin) and Emeka Okafor (strained calf) in the third quarter.

San Antonio 102, Seattle 71 -- Tony Parker, who missed 11 of 14 shots Wednesday against Atlanta, scored 21 points in the easy victory at San Antonio.

Milwaukee 109, Philadelphia 90 -- Michael Redd and Mo Williams scored 26 points each at Milwaukee and the Bucks ended a seven-game losing streak.
