* at No. 21 Boise State 42, San Jose State 7: Taylor Tharp threw three touchdown passes, two to Austin Pettis, to lead the Broncos (8-1, 5-0) over the Spartans in a Western Athletic Conference game at Boise, Idaho.
* at Fresno State 38, Utah State 27: Ryan Mathews ran for two touchdowns and Tom Brandstater threw for two more to lead the Bulldogs (6-3, 5-1) over the Aggies (0-9, 0-5) in a WAC game.
* Louisiana Tech 28, at Idaho 16: A 70-yard touchdown pass from Zac Champion to Phillip Livas put the Bulldogs (4-5, 3-3) ahead as they beat the Vandals (1-9, 0-6) in a WAC game at Moscow.
* at Brigham Young 35, Colorado State 16: Max Hall passed for 355 yards and three touchdowns and the Cougars (6-2, 4-0) won their 12th straight Mountain West Conference game by beating the Rams (1-8, 1-5) at Provo, Utah.
* at Texas Christian 37, New Mexico 0: Andy Dalton threw two touchdowns passes and the Horned Frogs (5-4, 2-3) held the Lobos (6-3, 3-2) to 28 rushing yards in a Mountain West game at Fort Worth.
* at San Diego State 27, Wyoming 24: Kevin O’Connell threw a 27-yard touchdown pass to Vincent Brown with just over a minute left to lift the Aztecs (3-5, 2-2) over the Cowboys (6-3, 3-2) in a Mountain West game.
* at Air Force 30, Army 10: Chad Hall ran for a school-record 275 yards and a touchdown to lead the Falcons (7-3) over the Black Knights (3-6) at Air Force Academy, Colo.
* Cal Poly SLO 28, at Southern Utah 21: Jonathan Daly passed for 147 yards, and the Mustangs (6-3, 2-1) held off the Thunderbirds (0-9, 0-3) in a Great West Conference game at Cedar City.
* at San Diego 52, Davidson 49: Quarterback Josh Johnson threw for 411 yards and five touchdowns -- four to John Matthews -- as the Toreros (8-1, 5-1) outlasted the Wildcats (5-4, 3-3) in a Pioneer League game for their 24th straight home win.
* Azusa Pacific 31, at Webber International 21: Quarterback Rudy Carlton completed 16 of 33 passes for 240 yards and two touchdowns as the Cougars (6-5) defeated the Warriors (3-6) at Lake Wales, Fla. Azusa Pacific built a 31-6 lead through three quarters.
* Cal Lutheran 31, at Pomona-Pitzer 13: Jesse Matlock caught two touchdown passes from R.J. Benedict, and Austin Jones returned a fumble 40 yards for another score as the Kingsmen (4-3, 4-0) took a 21-0 lead in the first quarter and never looked back in a win over the Sagehens (2-6, 1-5) in a SCIAC game.
* at Redlands 59, Whittier 6: Quarterback Dan Selway completed 23 of 32 passes for 391 yards and four touchdowns to lead the Bulldogs (7-1, 4-1) over the Poets (3-5, 2-3) in a SCIAC game. Zach Schafer rushed for 120 yards in 13 carries and had a two-yard touchdown run. Redlands rolled up 677 yards in total offense.
* at La Verne 31, Claremont-Mudd 7: Chris Handy rushed for 161 yards in 14 carries and scored three touchdowns, including two on the ground, to lead the Leopards (1-7, 1-5) over the Stags (2-6, 1-4) in a SCIAC game. Handy scored on runs of 64 and 37 yards, and also caught an eight-yard touchdown pass.
* at Occidental 21, Chapman 14 (OT): Rocky Caisulli caught a 10-yard touchdown pass from Justin Goltz and the Tigers (6-1) held off the Panthers (5-2) in a nonconference game. Caisulli and Goltz teamed up on all three Occidental touchdowns, the other two covering nine and 21 yards.
