* Kickoff: Saturday, 12:30 p.m.

* TV: ESPN GamePlan.

* Line: Missouri by 3 1/2 .

* Texas Tech update: The Red Raiders have won three consecutive games since a loss to Oklahoma State and have outscored opponents, 152-31, in that span. Their dynamic passing attack averages more than 500 yards, they are No. 1 in the nation in total offense at 582 yards a game, and No. 3 in scoring at 50 points a game. Quarterback Graham Harrell has a nation-leading 3,151 yards and 31 touchdowns. Only three of his 347 passes have been intercepted.

* Missouri update: The Tigers are coming off a loss to Oklahoma and are hoping to avoid a repeat of last season’s second-half collapse. They boast a top-flight offense that’s fifth in the nation in total offense and 11th in scoring. Quarterback Chase Daniel has passed for 2,073 yards and 16 touchdowns. They will also get back leading rusher Tony Temple, who sat out last week with an ankle injury.

* Story line: It’s a showcase of two of the nation’s top quarterbacks, each of whom is trying to legitimize his Heisman Trophy candidacy. Both teams need to win to keep momentum in the race for a spot in the Big 12 Conference title game.

* The pick: Texas Tech. The Red Raiders’ defense gets overshadowed, but it’s solid and fully capable of shutting down the Tigers.
