Jones-Drew questionable today
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- Jaguars running back Maurice Jones-Drew was limited in practice Friday -- the third consecutive day he’s missed part of team drills -- and was listed as questionable against Tampa Bay.
Jones-Drew hasn’t missed a game in his short career and vowed earlier in the week to play today against the Buccaneers. He sprained his left knee with about a minute to play Monday night against Indianapolis.
If he doesn’t play, the Jaguars will turn to starter Fred Taylor to carry the load. Taylor needs 135 yards rushing to become the 21st player in NFL history with 10,000.
