After hearing about the lawsuit brought by Anucha Browne Sanders, “I laughed,” Marbury said in U.S. District Court. “It was more of a joke than anything.”

Browne Sanders says she is owed her vice president position back and at least $10 million for enduring a sexually harassing workplace for five years.

Marquez-Juarez bout rescheduled

Juan Manuel Marquez’s super-featherweight title defense against Rocky Juarez has been rescheduled for Nov. 3 on Showtime, promoters said Wednesday.

Marquez suffered an infected cut on his left hand that forced the postponement of a pay-per-view card scheduled for Saturday at MGM Grand in Las Vegas. The Nov. 3 site has yet to be selected, although promoters are considering locations in Mexico and Texas.

Two other fights originally scheduled for the Marquez-Juarez undercard have been switched to other dates and venues. Francisco Bojado will now fight former “Contender” runner-up Steve Forbes Oct. 6 on the Manny Pacquiao-Marco Antonio Barrera card in Las Vegas, and former “Contender” champion Sergio Mora (19-0) of Downey is negotiating to fight an opponent other than the previously scheduled Kassim Ouma at the Home Depot Center in Carson next month.
