Update -- A win tonight would leapfrog Chivas over the Galaxy in the West. Chivas Coach Preki will serve the second game of a two-game suspension, and his team will also be without two key midfielders. Sacha Kljestan is in China playing for the U.S. Olympic team, and Paulo Nagamura is serving a one-game suspension for accumulated yellow cards. If he plays, as expected, midfielder Francisco Mendoza will become the first player in Chivas USA history to play 100 regular-season games for the club. Defender Claudio Suarez (concussion) is questionable. The Wizards haven’t scored in 195 minutes.
