UC Riverside 59, at Loyola Marymount 52: Kyle Austin, a sophomore transfer from USC, scored 20 points to lead the victory over the host Lions, who trailed by two at halftime but fell behind by 11 in the second half. It was Austin’s first game for the Highlanders (6-2) after sitting out the first seven games because of NCAA transfer rules. LaRon Armstead had 14 points for Loyola (0-10).
