3 wounded, 1 dead in shootings

Three men were wounded as a gunman Sunday morning shot at cars stopped on a street a few blocks from a separate, fatal shooting hours before.

Los Angeles Officer Norma Eisenman said the mid-morning shooting in the 12200 block of Osborne Place is believed to be gang-related. The victims had apparently become lost about two miles east of the 5 Freeway when they pulled over and came under fire, officials said.

Earlier in the day, about 2 a.m., a man in his 20s, who was walking in the 12500 block of Correnti Street, was fatally shot. The man died at the scene, and his name has not been released pending notification of his family, officials said.
