Boy, 16, shot as he flees from police
A 16-year-old boy was shot in the leg early Sunday morning while running from police, authorities said.
The teenager was among 15 to 20 people who had gathered about 12:30 a.m. in the 500 block of East Truslow Avenue when patrol officers approached the group, Fullerton police said.
Moments after members of the group started running, the boy was shot in the leg. Police said he was treated for the wound at a local hospital. No further details were available Sunday night.
