* at Cleveland 113, Charlotte 106 (2 OT): LeBron James scored eight of his 31 points in the second overtime, and pulled down a career-high 19 rebounds to lead the Cavaliers. His free throw and a jump shot before Damon Jones’ three-point basket from the corner gave Cleveland a 109-102 lead with 1:27 left.

* Toronto 99, at New York 90: Knicks starting forward Zach Randolph was benched the final 31-plus minutes after appearing to have a dispute with Coach Isiah Thomas. Randolph was pulled 20 seconds after committing an offensive foul with 7:35 left in the first half. New York trailed the final 45 1/2 minutes and lost for the ninth time in 10 games.

* at New Orleans 114, Miami 88: Bobby Jackson made a career-high seven three-pointers, finishing with 25 points, to help the Hornets roll past the Heat. Jackson became the first Hornets player to make seven three-pointers without missing one. That also tied him for third in NBA history for most three-pointers in a game without a miss, two shy of Latrell Sprewell’s record.

* Chicago 100, at Philadelphia 97: The Bulls improved to 14-20 overall and 5-3 under interim Coach Jim Boylan. The 76ers lost their sixth in a row. They have not won in 2008. Their last victory was at Seattle, 98-90, on Dec. 31.

* Washington 102, at Atlanta 98 (OT): Antonio Daniels scored off a finger roll with 37.5 seconds left in overtime to put the Wizards ahead to stay. Josh Smith scored 35 points for the Hawks, but it wasn’t enough to overcome the team’s 12 of 22 showing at the free-throw line.

* at Houston 113, Minnesota 82: The Rockets rolled without Tracy McGrady, who is expected to sit out three more games as he recovers from a left knee injury. McGrady, averaging 23 points, has sat out the last eight games because of strained tendons, tendinitis and a bone bruise in the knee.

* at Denver 113, Orlando 103: The Magic’s Dwight Howard finished with 20 points and 13 rebounds, his league-leading 33rd double-double of the season. But he was also whistled for two goaltending calls in the fourth quarter

* Dallas 90, at Seattle 70: Starting a stretch with five of six on the road, the Mavericks routed the SuperSonics, thanks to a tough defense that caused problems for rookie Kevin Durant. Durant was frustrated by the aggressive, physical defense of Josh Howard, who held him four-for-13 shooting and 15 points.

* at Golden State 116, Memphis 104: Baron Davis set a career-high with 19 assists and scored 20 points as the Warriors won for the 10th time in their last 13 home games. The Warriors announced that guard Troy Hudson will be out for the season after undergoing surgery on his left hip.

* Boston 86, at New Jersey 77: The Celtics (30-4) matched the 1959-60 championship team for the best start in club history.

* at Lakers 110, Milwaukee 105: Kobe Bryant scored 16 of his 37 points in the fourth quarter.
